SL-Messenger 2.0 is out!

September 2007, Sl-Messenger launches its open beta and brings history and presence to Second Life users. Providing people and places history along with blog widgets to advertise your SL status from your personal page, SL-Messenger has federated a strong community of users.

January 2008, SL-Messenger launches its 2.0 version and brings communication and sharing to Second Life through a set of innovative features:

• Chat from Second Life directly with their contacts on their preferred IM networks (MSN, Gtalk, AIM, Y!, ICQ), SL-Messenger help improve the immersive experience of Second Life users.
• Broadcast of short notes or snapshots through twitter while bookmarking their favorite locations, SL-Messenger brings a whole new social dimension for Second Life users letting them discover new people and places by navigating from one profile to another.
• Ranking of places and peoples letting you discover new cool places, preview them through the pictures taken by the SLMessengers or getting in touch with the most active SLMessengers to improve your experience in Second Life.
• New improved design of the web widgets, integration with SL Maps for a fast overview of any place.
